This site collects almost nothing. Here is exactly what happens.

I ask for your email address only. There is no name field anywhere on this site — I never ask, and there is nowhere to put one if you send it anyway.

Signing up uses double opt-in: after you submit your email, you get a confirmation message and must click it before anything else is sent. Until you confirm, you are not subscribed.

If you ask to be notified about a specific firearm model, a county, or list changes, that request is stored as a tag — a short string likemodel:ar-15-series or county:el-paso — attached only to your email address at the site's email provider. No name, IP address, or other identifier is attached to it.

I do not sell your email address. I do not share it with any organization — not a state agency, not an advocacy group, not an advertiser, not a data broker.

Unsubscribing is one click and removes every tag tied to your address at once, not just the alert you clicked from. You can also ask me to delete your record entirely, and I will.

Site traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it does not track you across visits or across other sites.

This page describes the whole system. If a future feature changes any of these facts, this page changes first.
